Stitch and staple removal at home
We remove stitches and staples at your home, hotel, villa or boat when instructed by your doctor or surgeon.
What I do
I examine the wound before removing the stitches or staples to check that it has healed well. I remove them with sterile instruments and without unnecessary pain.
Afterwards, I clean the area, apply any dressing needed and explain how to care for the scar. If I see signs of infection or anything that concerns me, I tell you and advise you to consult your doctor.
